A thrilling police procedural set in the rural badlands of Northern India, Santosh follows a recent widow who inherits her late husband’s job as a police constable. When a low-caste girl is found raped and murdered, Santosh is pulled into the investigation under the wing of Sharma, a fellow female inspector and charismatic feminist. The deeper Santosh digs, the more she’s drawn into a dark world where the lines between right and wrong begin to blur and she’s forced to confront what justice really means.
