The London Mountain Film Festival is a celebration of adventure, resilience, and the irresistible pull of the wild. Each year, the festival brings together filmmakers, explorers, athletes, and dreamers who share a common passion: the outdoors and the stories they inspire.

We’ve selected the following films for our screening:

WINTER KOOKS (15 mins) – Alberta’s first-ever river surfing film, diving into the lives of two land locked surfers battling winter depression through the raw intensity of cold-water surfing.

THE FINISHER (47 mins) – Follows Jasmin Paris as she battles exhaustion, navigation, and the clock to become the first woman ever to complete the notorious Barkley Marathons.

THE LOST BOYS OF CARBIS BAY (29 mins) – A daring band of unlikely explorers embark on a quest to uncover the forgotten mines of Cornwall, only to unearth an unexpected journey of self-discovery.

FIFTY FIFTY (10 mins) – Renowned alpinists Ines Papert and Sarah Huenekin climb past the age of 50 – pushing themselves harder while learning more about each other, as well as themselves.

THE OLDEST MUNRO BAGGER (57 mins) – Filmed over four years, 80 year-old Nick Gardner attempts to complete all 282 of Scotland’s Munros in the wake of his beloved wife’s dementia diagnosis.
